Product details

The Raypak B-R406A-EN-X is an ASME rated natural gas pool heater listed at 399K BTU, built with a bronze header and a cupro-nickel heat exchanger for elevations from 0 to 2000 ft.

Control and diagnostics

A digital LCD handles temperature and heater settings. Behind it, a microprocessor monitors operating status continuously and puts a diagnostic readout on the display, which turns a service call from guesswork into reading a code.

Built against the two things that kill heaters

Condensation and water chemistry. The Unitherm governor keeps return water temperature high enough to stop condensation forming inside the exchanger, and the cupro-nickel exchanger takes aggressive water and heavy duty cycles better than plain copper.

On site

The cabinet has a small footprint for the output, and the burner design is rated for high wind reliability. Gas sizing, venting and clearances have to be checked against the manufacturer instructions before it is fired.
