The AquaStar ASD101B is a 1-1/2 in. return fitting extender with an eyeball and nut, with a 3/4 in. orifice, in white.

What it does

The extender screws into a 1-1/2 in. FPT fitting and adds 1/2 in. for a new finish, which makes it a good choice for remodels. It finishes flush, with no protrusion past the surface, and it eliminates the need for costly removal of old fittings because it just screws in.

How to choose

The eyeball is available in four orifice sizes: 1 in., 3/4 in., 1/2 in. and slotted. AquaStar marks the orifice with a part number suffix: B is 3/4 in., C is 1/2 in. and D is slotted. The ASD101B is the 3/4 in. orifice in white, and the clear version is part number ASD100.
