Product details

The Waterway 819-0010 is the 1/4-20 pan head Phillips lid screw used to secure the lid on Waterway Carefree, ClearWater and top mount sand filter multiport valves.

What it does

The lid screw holds the multiport valve lid tightly against the valve body so the seal underneath stays compressed and the valve does not leak or weep at the top. It is cut to a 1/4-20 thread and measures 1-1/2 in. long, matching the length and thread pitch Waterway specifies for this lid pattern. The pan head Phillips drive sits flush against the lid and is easy to reach with a standard screwdriver during service.

Fit and compatibility

This screw is used on Waterway Carefree and ClearWater sand filters and on the 1-1/2 in. top mount sand filter valve with the 7 function handle. Because multiport valve lids use several screws of the same size, a missing or stripped screw is easy to replace with this part without disturbing the rest of the lid hardware.
