Product details

The Sta-Rite 14962-0021 is a Buna-N square ring that seals the body of a 1-1/2 in. top mount multiport valve, fitting Swimquip models 14962 and 14964.

What it does

A square ring uses a square cross section instead of a round one, which lets it seat evenly in the machined groove of the valve body and hold a tight seal between the two halves of the multiport valve as water is diverted through backwash, rinse, waste and filter positions. The Buna-N compound resists pool water and the chemicals used to sanitize it, and stays flexible enough to keep sealing after repeated valve cycles.

Fit and compatibility

This ring is sized for the 1-1/2 in. top mount multiport valve used on Sta-Rite Swimquip models 14962 and 14964, per the parts diagram for that valve family. It is sold individually, as a single ring, not as part of a gasket kit. Some parts references also list it as G-307, but 14962-0021 is the number to use when ordering.
