Product details

The Jacuzzi 4628-17 is the plastic sight glass for the DVK-6 dial valve and the DVK-7 and DVK-7C seven way dial valves. It is the small clear window in the waste line that lets you see the water leaving the filter.

Why it earns its place

Backwashing without a sight glass is guesswork. You either stop too early and leave the filter dirty, or run far longer than needed and dump clean, chemically balanced water down the waste line. Watching the flow clear through the glass tells you exactly when to switch the valve back.

Before you order

Check whether the deflector inside the sight glass housing is also broken. That is a separate Jacuzzi part, and it is worth replacing both at once rather than opening the valve twice.
