Product details

This is the Jacuzzi 42212316R DE filter grid, 8-1/2 in by 18 in. Four of them are required in the grid set, alongside the narrower grids that make up the rest of the assembly.

Where it fits

The grid is used in the Jacuzzi Avalanche DE filters AV-40, AV-60, AV-80 and AV-100, the Landslide LS40, LS55 and LS70, and the original style Earthworks EW75, EW100, EW125 and EW150.

When to replace a grid

DE grids fail at the fabric. A tear, a split seam or a face that will no longer clean up all have the same result: DE powder passes through instead of being held, and it returns to the pool through the returns. Since grids age together, it is worth inspecting the whole set while the tank is open.

Is this the only grid size in the filter?
No. This is the 8-1/2 in by 18 in grid. The set also uses a narrower grid, which is a separate Jacuzzi part.
