The Pentair 271157 is the valve handle washer for the HiFlow 2 inch top mount and side mount multiport valves. It is the genuine Pentair part.

Where it belongs

It is one of the small pieces in the handle stack at the top of the valve. Nobody buys it on its own for fun; it turns up on the list when a valve is being taken apart and the original washer is crushed, cracked or has quietly gone missing on the deck.

What else to check

Pentair lists the valve spring, a separate 1 inch white spring washer and the stem o-ring for the same valve family, plus full 1.5 inch and 2 inch rebuild kits. If the valve is open anyway, replacing the wear parts together saves doing the job twice. This washer is listed for models 261124, 261185, 261177, 261173, 261055 and 261152.
