The Jacuzzi 39255302R is the replacement valve handle for the DVK-6 six way dial valve and the DVK-7 and DVK-7C seven way dial valves.

Why the handle matters

A dial valve is only useful if it lands cleanly on a position. The handle is the lever that gets it there, and it takes real force every time you move from filter to backwash and back. Sun and chlorine make the plastic brittle over the years, so the handle is normally the first part of the valve to give out.

What is in this listing

The handle only. If the handle is split where it grips the stem, or the splines are rounded off so it slips, this is the fix. If the stem itself spins freely inside the valve, the problem is further down and a new handle will not solve it.

Which valves does this handle fit?
The Jacuzzi DVK-6 six way dial valve and the DVK-7 and DVK-7C seven way dial valves.
Is this just the handle?
Yes. It is the handle alone, not the valve, the stem or the diverter underneath it.
My handle turns but the valve does not change position. Will this fix it?
Only if the handle itself is stripped or split where it grips the stem. If the stem is turning freely inside the valve, the fault is further down and the handle will not cure it.
Why do handles break?
They live outdoors in sun and chlorine and take real force every time the valve is turned. Plastic goes brittle over the years and eventually cracks at the stem.
