The Aladdin GO-KIT39-9 is the seal valve kit for the Hayward number 715 multiport valve. It is supplied as a kit, so the valve gets resealed as a set instead of one worn piece at a time.

What worn multiport seals look like

A multiport works by sealing off every port except the ones the handle has selected. When those seals harden or wear, water starts crossing between ports internally. The symptoms are familiar: dirt returning to the pool on filter, water trickling out of the waste line when it should not, or a valve that behaves the same in more than one position.

Reseal rather than replace

Multiport bodies usually outlast their seals by years. Rebuilding one with a seal kit is a fraction of the cost of a new valve and a much shorter job. Shut the pump down and relieve system pressure before opening the valve.
