The Sta-Rite WC30-84 is the lock pin assembly for a WC212-134 plastic or bronze slide valve, holding the handle in place once it is set to a position.

What it does

A slide valve directs water flow by moving a handle to one of several positions. The lock pin assembly is the small mechanism that catches and holds that handle once it is set, so normal water pressure and vibration do not let it slip to another position on their own.

Fit and compatibility

The WC30-84 is sized for the Sta-Rite WC212-134 slide valve and fits both the plastic and bronze body versions of that valve. It is sold individually as the pin assembly only, not as part of a full valve or handle kit.

Replace the WC30-84 when a slide valve handle no longer stays where you set it, which is the usual sign that the lock pin is worn, bent or missing rather than a problem with the valve body itself.
