Product details

The Polaris Unibridge is a low profile bridge that sits over a raised anti-vortex main drain cover. Automatic pool cleaners tend to high center on those covers and stall there. The Unibridge covers the raised shape so the cleaner rolls across and keeps working. Part 5830 is the blue version.

Read this before you buy

The Unibridge is not a suction outlet cover and is not permanently installed. It does not replace a main drain cover and must not be used as one. It is only for use on top of a properly and permanently installed suction outlet cover that complies with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act and with ASME/ANSI A112.19.8 (2007 or later). Never remove the compliant cover to fit it.

Fit

It is designed to fit over most raised anti-vortex main drain covers. If your cleaner gets stuck at the drain, this is the usual fix.

Is this a replacement main drain cover?
No. The Unibridge is not a suction outlet cover and is not intended to take the place of one. It goes over a properly installed cover that complies with the VGB Pool and Spa Safety Act and ASME/ANSI A112.19.8 (2007 or later).
What problem does it solve?
Automatic cleaners can high center and get stuck on a raised anti-vortex main drain cover. The Unibridge covers the raised profile so the cleaner drives across it.
Will it fit my main drain cover?
It is made to fit over most raised anti-vortex main drain covers. Measure your cover if it is unusually large.
Is it permanently installed?
No. It is not a permanent installation and it must only ever be used on top of a compliant suction outlet cover.
