Product details

The PoolTux BT1834 is an Emperor solid winter cover for an 18'x34' oval above ground pool. The cover itself measures 22'x38', which leaves a 4 ft overlap all the way round for the cable to pull against.

The material

It is built from 8 mil black on tan triple laminated polyethylene with heat sealed seams. The edge carries a sewn in polypropylene cord for reinforcement, which is where the load concentrates once the cable is cinched down.

Holding it down

Aluminum grommets are spaced every three feet around the perimeter. A deluxe aluminum cable winch and a vinyl coated steel lock down cable are included, so the cover can be pulled tight over the top rail without buying separate hardware.

Warranty

The Emperor line carries a 20 year warranty from PoolTux, and the warranty card ships in the box. Order this cover by the size of the pool it closes, not by the cover's own cut dimensions, since the 22'x38' figure already accounts for the 4 ft overlap.
