Product details

AquaStar US108 is a 7 1/2" tan umbrella stand supplied with its decorative sleeve and center cap. It gives the deck a permanent socket that will take an umbrella, a volleyball pole or a tiki torch.

How it is installed

The stand is set into a hole formed in the gunite while the shell is being built or resurfaced. Pool finish is then applied over the top of the stand, and once that finish is in place the decorative sleeve and the center cap drop in to complete it. Because the anchor is buried in the shell rather than bolted to the surface, there is nothing standing proud of the deck when the pocket is not in use.

Living with it

Leave the cap in when the socket is empty and the deck reads as one clean surface. Lift the cap out and the same pocket holds a shade umbrella through summer, a volleyball net post for a game, or a torch in the evening.
