Where electric makes sense
Electric heating is the answer when gas is not. If the property has no gas service, or the existing line will not carry the demand of a gas heater, an electric unit heats from the electrical supply already at the pad. There is no combustion, no flue and no gas permit work.
Salt water
Coates lists the 12415CE as not salt compatible. If your pool runs a salt chlorine generator, do not install this model. Salt water calls for a heater specified for it, and using the wrong one shortens its life.
Installation
