Product details

Jandy R0465700 is the cover o-ring used on NeverLube and spring check valves. It measures 3-3/4 inches inside diameter with a 3/32 inch cross section.

Where it sits

This is the seal between the valve body and the valve cover. It is the one that gets disturbed every time the cover comes off for service, and it is the usual source of a slow weep from the top of a valve. Replacing it costs a fraction of replacing the valve.

Before you order

Measure the old ring. Jandy uses several cover o-rings across its valve range, and this one is listed for the NeverLube 2.5" X 3" valve and the spring check valve. Fit it clean and seated fully in its groove.

What size is this o-ring?

My valve is dripping from the top. Is this the fix?
Usually. A slow weep from around the valve cover normally means the cover o-ring is flattened, nicked or has taken a set. Replacing it is far cheaper than replacing the valve.
Should I replace it whenever I open the valve?
It is worth doing. An o-ring that has been compressed for years rarely reseals as well the second time.
