Product details

The Jandy R0552200 is the OEM replacement lid kit for the Neverlube backwash valve, covering models 8034, 8034J and BWVL-NVL. It is supplied as a kit.

Why the lid fails

The lid carries the handle and takes every load put through it, and it sits in full sun on most equipment pads. Between mechanical stress and years of UV, it is the part of the valve most likely to crack or distort, and a leak at the top of a backwash valve usually traces back to it.

What is not included

This is the lid kit only. The diverter kit and the o-ring kit for these Neverlube valves are separate Jandy parts, so if the valve is being serviced properly it is worth checking whether the diverter and seals are due at the same time.
