Quick overview
- Genuine Jandy Factory part 4734, molded to the original dimensions.
- Two port valves This is the cover for the 2 port version, not the 3 port.
- CPVC Molded in CPVC, which is why this cover suits the higher temperature side of the system.
- Black Supplied in black, matching the standard Jandy valve.
- Saves the valve body A cracked cover does not mean a new valve. The body stays plumbed in and only the cover is changed.
- Check the seal too Covers seldom fail alone. Look at the o-ring underneath while you have it open.

Product details
The Jandy 4734 is the genuine two port valve cover, molded in black CPVC. It replaces the cover on a Jandy two port valve without touching the body, so the valve stays plumbed exactly where it is.
Two port, not three
Jandy valves come in two and three port versions and the covers are not interchangeable. Count the ports on the body before you order, since this is the two port part.
Why CPVC
CPVC is rated for higher water temperature than standard PVC. Where a valve sits somewhere that can see hot water, the cover material is part of the specification rather than a cosmetic choice.
While it is open
A cover rarely fails on its own. The seal underneath it has spent the same years in the same chemistry and the same sun, so look at it while the valve is apart. It is also worth checking that the cover screws were not the cause: overtightening one is a common way to split the plastic that was supposed to last.
