Product details

The Jandy 3500 is the replacement handle for the Jandy Space Saver valve. It is the genuine Jandy part, and it is also listed with a plus after the number as 3500+.

What it replaces

The handle is the part of a valve that takes all the force and all the weather. It is what cracks at the hub, strips out on the stem or snaps off entirely, usually while the valve body and the diverter inside it are still perfectly good. Fitting a new handle puts a working valve back in service for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.

Handle only

This listing is the handle by itself. The diverter, the cover and the valve body are separate Jandy parts, so if the handle turns the stem but the flow does not change, the fault is inside the valve and not at the handle.

Which valve does this handle fit?
The Jandy Space Saver valve.
Is the diverter included?
No. This is the handle only. The diverter and the valve body are separate parts.
Why is the part number shown two ways?
It appears as 3500 and as 3500+. Both refer to the Space Saver handle, so do not be put off if your paperwork shows one and the listing shows the other.
My handle turns but the valve does not. Is this the fix?
If the handle spins freely on the stem it has stripped, and a new handle is the repair. If the handle and stem turn together but flow does not change, the problem is inside the valve rather than at the handle.
