Product details
The Jandy R0486900 is the replacement knob kit for 2-way and 3-way NeverLube valves. It is the genuine Jandy Pro Series part, made by Zodiac Pool Systems, in black.
Why the knob goes first
The valve body itself tends to outlast the handle. Years of sun and of being cranked round by hand crack the knob or wear the grip smooth, and eventually it splits or disappears. The valve is still good at that point, so replacing the knob is the whole repair.
Fitting
The knob sits on the outside of the valve, so putting a new one on does not mean opening the water side of the valve body or cutting into the plumbing at the pad.
