Jandy R0552400 is the o-ring kit for the Never Lube 2-in-1 backwash valve. It covers the BWVL-NVL, 8034J and 8034 valves, and it is the genuine Jandy part rather than an assortment of generic rings.

Why the o-rings are the wear item

The Never Lube design is meant to be serviced without grease, so the seals carry the whole sealing job on their own. Over seasons of pressure cycles, chlorine and heat, they harden and take a set. That is when a valve that has been fine for years starts weeping around the body or the diverter shaft.

Kit, not singles

Buying the kit means the matched set arrives together. Replacing one o-ring and leaving the rest in place tends to move the leak rather than end it, so doing them all while the valve is open is the sensible approach.

The diverter itself is a separate Jandy part. If the valve is not sealing between positions after new o-rings, that is where to look next.
