The Hayward AXV442 is the flap kit for the AquaBug, Diver Dave and Wanda the Whale pool cleaners. Each kit contains two flaps, front and rear, molded in plastic.
What the flaps do
These cleaners have no wheels. They move by flexing against the pool surface, and the flaps are the part that does the flexing. As they wear down the cleaner covers less ground per hour, then starts stalling in the same places, and eventually sits still with the pump running.
