Product details

The Intermatic P1261P is a portable outdoor timer with two independently controlled circuits. It plugs in rather than being wired to terminals, which puts scheduled control on the pad without the electrician a hard wired time clock needs.

How it is used

The timer plugs into an outdoor outlet, and the equipment plugs into the timer. Each of the two circuits gets its own schedule, so a pump and a second device can run on separate times from one box.

Safety

The circuits are GFCI protected as part of the unit, which matters for anything running near water.

Where it fits

This is the practical option for a seasonal setup, a rental, a spa, or any pool where the equipment is plug connected and pulling permits for a wired clock is not worth it.
