The Pentair 522038Z is the valve expansion module for the IntelliCenter pool automation platform. It is the genuine Pentair part, the same module the factory supplies.

What it is for

IntelliCenter is built around a base panel that can be extended, and expansion modules are how that is done. This one covers the valve side of the system. It is ordered both to grow an existing installation and to replace a module that has stopped responding.
