Product details

This is a four pack of the CMP 25543-000-000 winterizing plug, each supplied with its o-ring. A typical pool has more than one return to close, so the four pack covers a closing without ordering singles.

What the plug does

Each plug threads into a standard 1-1/2 inch return jet and the o-ring seals it, keeping the return line closed through the off season. The same plug also replaces the Hayward® filter drain plug SP1022C, so a spare is useful on the equipment pad as well.

Fit and material

The plugs are listed as fitting most standard return jets on above ground and in ground pools, and as compatible with the major equipment brands including Hayward®, Pentair, Jandy and Waterway.
