This is the genuine OEM wheel drivetrain set for the Polaris 280 and Polaris 180 pressure side pool cleaners.
What it does
The wheel drivetrain is what turns water pressure into movement. Everything else on the cleaner can be in good order, but if the drive components are worn the cleaner will not cover the pool properly.
When to fit one
A 280 or 180 that stalls, drags, wanders off its pattern or leaves whole sections of the floor untouched is usually telling you the drive parts are past their service life. The set is supplied together, which saves ordering the pieces one at a time.
