Product details

The Polaris 6-403-00 is the randomizer ball for the Polaris 160 and 165 pool cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part, molded in plastic.

What it does

A pressure cleaner without a randomizer tends to settle into a groove, tracing the same path around the pool and leaving the rest of the floor alone. The randomizer ball breaks that pattern up so the cleaner wanders across the whole pool over a cycle. When the ball is missing, worn or stuck, poor coverage is the symptom owners notice first, and it is usually blamed on the hose or the pressure before anyone looks at the ball.
