The Raypak PS10354ti-E-HC, part number TWPH-10354EHC17, is a Professional Series heat pump pool and spa heater with heat and cool: 170,000 BTU/hr at 80F air, 80F water and 80 percent humidity with a COP of 5.8, a spiral titanium heat exchanger and a stainless steel cabinet, on 460 V three phase power.
Built for commercial pools
Raypak designs the Professional for apartments, condos, hotels, schools, parks, community pools and high end private pools, and for coastal sites where salt air shortens the life of outdoor equipment. The cabinet is stainless steel, and the spiral titanium tube exchanger stands up to harsh pool chemistry and helps reduce deposit build up.
Heat and cool
A reversing valve lets the heat pump cool the water in summer as well as heat it, and a refrigerant management system defrosts the coil quickly in cold weather. The Copeland scroll compressor runs quieter and with less vibration than a reciprocating compressor. A flow switch is standard.
Electrical and plumbing
Raypak's manual gives 460 V, three phase, 60 Hz, a minimum circuit ampacity of 26 A and a breaker of 30 to 40 A for the 10354HC. The heater draws 8.6 kW. Water connections are 2 inch PVC unions and the flow range is 30 to 60 GPM. The unit rating plate governs the exact electrical requirements.
