The Raypak Crosswind V is an 85,000 BTU pool heat pump built around a titanium heat exchanger and run from a digital capacitive touch control panel, on 208-230V power.

Titanium where it counts

A heat pump passes pool water through its exchanger every minute it runs, which means salt, chlorine and any pH drift go through it too. Titanium is the material that holds up to that, and it is why this unit will outlast a heat pump built with a cheaper exchanger in the same water.

Installation and service

The Crosswind V is compact and light enough to set on a standard equipment pad, and it plumbs into industry standard 2 inch water connections, so it drops into a conventional pad layout. The front panel design puts the serviceable components where a tech can reach them without pulling the unit apart.

The capacitive touch panel gives readable diagnostics and real time status, so it is clear what the unit is doing and why it is or is not calling for heat.
