The Raypak 013200F is the modulating gas valve with 120 volt control, the genuine factory part. It is the valve that decides how much gas reaches the burner.

Why modulating matters

A simple gas valve is either open or shut, so the heater fires at full rate until the water passes setpoint, then stops, then starts again. A modulating valve throttles back as the water gets close, which holds temperature more evenly and cuts down the on and off cycling that wears components.

Will this valve fit my Raypak heater?
Raypak uses more than one gas valve across its heater range, and control voltage differs between models. Check part number 013200F and the 120 volt rating against the model and serial number on your heater before ordering.
What does modulating mean?
A modulating valve can vary how much gas reaches the burner instead of only opening fully or closing. That lets the heater ease off as the water approaches setpoint rather than overshooting and cycling.

Can I fit it myself?
