Raypak Heat Exchanger Cupro Nickel Tube Bundle 406A/407A

The Raypak 017981F is the cupro nickel tube bundle for 406A and 407A pool and spa heaters with bronze ASME headers. It is a genuine Raypak part and the core of the heat exchanger, the finned tube section pool water passes through as the burners heat it.

Built to resist corrosion

Cupro nickel is copper alloyed with nickel, and the nickel is what gives it its corrosion resistance and long life. Tube bundles usually fail because water chemistry has gone after the copper, so replacing with the nickel alloy addresses the cause instead of repeating it.

Before you order

Raypak builds these heaters with either bronze ASME or polymer headers, and the two use different bundles. This one is for bronze ASME headers on the 406A and 407A. The polymer header 406A takes Raypak 014933F. Check your header material first.
