Product details
Raypak 010364F is the genuine OEM copper nickel tube bundle for the PR206A and PR207A digital pool heaters. Raypak describes the same part as a cupro-nickel tube bundle; the two names refer to one alloy.
What it does
The tube bundle is where the heater actually heats. Pool water runs through the tubes, burner flame and hot gases pass over the outside, and everything else in the cabinet exists to serve that exchange. When the bundle goes, the heater is done until it is replaced.
Why cupro-nickel
Cupro-nickel is far more tolerant of aggressive pool water than plain copper. If a heater has already lost a bundle to low pH or heavy sanitizer, the alloy is the difference between a repair that lasts and one that repeats.
Before you fit it
A bundle rarely fails on its own. Water chemistry that ran acidic, sanitizer that ran high, or flow that ran low will have played a part, so correct those at the same time. Confirm part number 010364F against your heater before ordering.
