Product details
Sta-Rite GW9015 is the skimmer reducer cone used to connect a suction cleaner hose to the skimmer. It is a molded plastic part, the factory Sta-Rite item.
What it does
The cone drops into the skimmer and steps the large opening down to the cleaner hose. Its job is to keep the suction the pump is producing pointed at the cleaner. When the cone is cracked, missing or not seated, the skimmer pulls around it and the cleaner slows, stalls or climbs badly.
Fitment
Sta-Rite lists this cone for the Great White GW9500 and GW9000 and for the Lil Shark GW8000, and describes it as working with most pool cleaner hoses. If you are fitting it to a cleaner from another maker, check the hose end diameter first.
