What it controls
A pressure side cleaner lives or dies on the flow it is fed. The regulator is the adjustment that sets it. Run it too lean and the cleaner drags across the floor without covering the pool, run it too rich and it lifts, skips and wears its drive parts out early. A regulator that has seized, cracked or lost its adjustment takes that control away.
