The AquaStar JO105 is the dark gray flush retrofit eyeball. It threads into 1-1/2 inch FPT and sits flush inside an existing flush mount fitting.
Why retrofit
Return fittings get chalky, stained and brittle long before anything else in the pool does, and replacing one the hard way means chipping it out of the wall and repairing the finish around it. This fitting drops into the flush mount fitting that is already there. The old fitting stays put, the new face covers it, and the return looks new again in dark gray without a patch to hide.
What comes with it
The kit includes the wrench for installation, a retrofit nut, a retrofit socket, and both a 1/2 inch and a 1 inch eyeball. The two eyeballs let you set the return flow: the smaller opening throws a faster, more directed stream for circulation, the larger one moves the same water more gently.
