The Century SN1152 is the 1.5 HP full rated replacement motor for Hayward® NorthStar pool pumps, with a 1.60 service factor for 2.4 total horsepower on a 56J C-face frame. Century, the Regal Rexnord brand formerly sold as A.O. Smith, cross references it to Hayward® motor SP1615Z1BNSC.

Ratings and construction

The motor is rated 208-230/115 V, 60 Hz, single phase, and draws 11.0-10.2/20.4 A at full load at 3450 RPM. It is a NEMA C-face dripproof design with no base, a threaded 303 stainless steel shaft with a 7/16-20 UNF-2A RH thread, counterclockwise rotation viewed from the shaft end and an overall length of 13.85 in. It is switchless, with ball bearings, Class B insulation rated for a 50 C ambient, automatic thermal protection and an e-coated main frame for corrosion resistance.
