The Century SQ1152 is a full rated 1.5 horsepower square flange pool pump motor, single speed, 48Y frame, running at 3450 rpm on 208/230 volts. It draws 10.4 amps and carries a 1.47 service factor.
Full rated, not up rated
Full rated means the 1.5 horsepower is the actual output before the service factor is applied. An up rated motor of the same nominal size delivers less. If the pump you are repairing came with a full rated motor, replacing it with an up rated one changes how the pump performs.
Construction
Sealed ball bearings at both ends, a 303 stainless steel shaft with a 1/2 inch thread, an open drip proof enclosure and capacitor start capacitor run electricals. It is rated for a 50 C ambient, class B insulation, continuous duty, and is UL recognized under the 1081 design at 74.4 percent efficiency.
Fitment
Listed for the Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas, Max-E-Glas II, Dura-Glas, Dura-Glas II, Dyna-Glas and Dyna-Max, and for the Pentair WhisperFlo. Rotation is counterclockwise viewed from the pump end and the overall length is 13.94 inches.
