The Hydro-Quip BES6005 is the 11kW baptismal heating and control system from the BES6000 series. Heater and controls arrive as one unit, so a single enclosure handles bringing the water up to temperature and holding it there.
Where it fits
A baptistry is filled and heated on a schedule rather than run continuously like a pool, which means the equipment has to raise a modest volume of water reliably and then be left alone between uses. The 11kW output is the larger of the two in the series, and the one to specify when the tub is bigger or the fill window is short.
Space and mounting
Hydro-Quip gives a minimum space requirement of 14"H x 26"W x 16"D and lists the 11kW units at 13"H x 29"W x 15"D. Those two figures do not agree on width, so measure the space you have against both before you settle on a location.
Electrical
The system runs on a 4 wire service at 60 Hz. Amp draw and breaker size differ across the models in the series, so this is a job to hand to a licensed electrician working from the Hydro-Quip installation sheet for the BES6005 rather than from a general figure.
