The Jandy R0374500 is the o-ring kit for the Jandy Energy Filter, supplied as the genuine rubber replacement seals.

Why they are a kit

A filter service disturbs more than one seal. Buying them together means each one goes back new, instead of the single o-ring that looked worst being replaced while the rest are refitted with another season on them.

Fitting

Old o-rings take a permanent set against the sealing face, which is why a filter that never leaked can start weeping straight after a clean. Fit the new seals with a silicone based lubricant intended for pool equipment, not petroleum grease, which attacks rubber. The Energy Filter element kit and the bowl are separate Jandy parts.

What does the kit fit?
The Jandy Energy Filter. It is Jandy part R0374500.
When should I replace the o-rings?
Whenever the filter is opened. Seals take a set against the sealing face, and refitting an old one after a service is the most common cause of a drip.
Does the kit include the filter element?
No. This is the o-ring kit only. The Energy Filter element kit is a separate Jandy part.
Should I lubricate them?
A silicone based o-ring lubricant made for pool equipment helps the seals seat and makes the next service easier. Do not use petroleum grease.
