The Hayward CCX1000G is the tank body o-ring for the XStream cartridge filter, the seal that sits between the upper and lower halves of the tank. It is the factory Hayward replacement.
Where it leaks
An XStream that drips at the seam under the clamp band is almost always telling you the body o-ring has hardened, flattened or split. The tank halves are not machined to seal on their own, and once the ring loses its shape no amount of extra tension on the band will make the joint dry. Tightening harder is how tanks and clamps get damaged.
When to change it
The ring is fully exposed every time the tank is opened for a cartridge clean, so it costs nothing extra to inspect it and very little to replace it. Fit it clean, without grit on the sealing face, and seat the halves squarely before the band is drawn up.
