Product details

The Waterway 805-0435 is the number 435 o-ring for the sand filter collar. It is the genuine Waterway part, sized for the joint rather than pulled from a generic assortment.

What it seals

The collar is where the valve meets the top of the sand filter tank, and that joint carries full filter pressure every time the pump runs. When the ring in it hardens, flattens or splits, the tank weeps at the collar. It is a small leak that never fixes itself and slowly ruins whatever is under it.

Fitment

Waterway lists this ring with the ClearWater top mount sand filter and with the WVS002 and WVS003 valves. If you have the valve off the tank for any other reason, replace this ring while you are there rather than reusing a seal that has already taken a set.
