This is the Waterway 711-1920 gasket for the sand filter valve joint on the older Clearwater sand filter. It is a clear white round gasket with ridges across the face and a slight lip at the inside edge.
Which valve it suits
It belongs on filters fitted with the clamp style valve, where a band clamps the valve down to the tank. The later split nut style valve does not use this gasket at all, it seals with an o-ring, so identify the valve on your filter before ordering. A quick look at the joint answers it: a band clamp means this gasket, a large threaded nut means the o-ring.
Dimensions
The gasket measures 7-1/8 inches across the outside and 5-5/8 inches across the inside. Thickness is about 1/8 inch at the outer edge and 1/4 inch at the inside lip. Note the way the old gasket sat as you take it out so the lip goes back the same way.
