The Raypak Crosswind V is a 102,000 BTU pool heat pump built around a titanium heat exchanger and a capacitive touch digital control panel. It is smaller and lighter than the Raypak heat pumps that came before it, which makes placement and setup on a standard equipment pad simpler.

Built for the pad

Water connections are industry standard 2 in., so it plumbs in with common unions and fittings. The service panel is on the front, which means the unit can sit close to a wall or fence and still be opened for maintenance.

Controls and diagnostics

The capacitive touch panel shows current status and clear diagnostics, so you can read what the unit is doing at a glance rather than decoding blink codes. The design also uses less energy than older units, which shows up on the monthly bill.
