Product details

The AquaStar ASD101 is a white return extender that comes with its eyeball and nut. It threads into any 1-1/2 inch FPT return and adds half an inch of extension.

Built for remodels

When a pool gets a new finish, the returns end up sitting below the new surface. Cutting the original fittings out is expensive and it means opening up work you just paid for. An extender solves it from the front: screw it into the fitting that is already in the wall, and the finished face comes back out to where it should be. Where the new finish is thicker, extenders can be stacked to get more than a single half inch.

Materials and fit

It is molded in UV resistant ABS and made in the USA, and it is designed to finish flush with the surface rather than standing proud of it. The eyeball and nut are supplied with it.

A note on the orifice
