The HydroQuip Water Pro ozonator kit, part 34-2722-50-K, is a corona discharge ozone generator rated at 50 mg for use with a hot tub. It is built to work interchangeably on 120V or 240V, which takes the guesswork out of matching it to an existing pack.
What is in the kit
The box holds the generator itself, a 6 foot power cord with a 4 pin Amp plug, 6 feet of 1/4 inch by 3/8 inch tubing, a check valve and an installation manual. That is everything the connection needs apart from the injector fitting already in the plumbing.
The check valve is not optional
Ozone reaches the water through soft tubing, and tub water will siphon back down that tubing the moment pressure drops. The check valve in the kit is what stops it. Fit it, and mount the generator above the water line where the manual shows.
