Product details
The Raypak 011596F is the return header for the Raypak Model 130A pool heater. It is the genuine Raypak part, so the ports and the bolt pattern match the exchanger already in the heater.
What a header does
The headers are the cast ends that carry pool water into and out of the heat exchanger tubes. They take the full flow, the full temperature swing and whatever the water chemistry brings with it. Low flow, aggressive water or a hard freeze cracks them, and once a header is cracked the heater leaks into its own cabinet, over the burner tray and the controls.
Getting the right end
This is the return header. The inlet and outlet header on the same heater is a separate Raypak part, so identify which end is leaking before you order. If corrosion is showing on one header it is worth inspecting the other while the heater is open.
