Product details
The Raypak 015547F is the polymer inlet and outlet header for the Raypak 156A heat exchanger. It is the genuine Raypak replacement part.
What the header does
The header is the molded end piece that routes pool water into the heat exchanger and back out again. Everything the pump sends to the heater passes through it, at whatever temperature and chemistry the pool is running, which is why it is one of the wearing parts on a gas heater rather than a permanent one.
The symptom it fixes
A cracked or weeping header shows up as water inside the heater cabinet, a puddle under the unit, or a heater that is losing pressure. Sealants buy a short reprieve at best. Replacing the header restores the sealed water path the exchanger needs.
This header is specific to the 156A, so match your model before ordering.
