Why the vinyl version matters
A liner is soft, and the wrong tools mark it. The vac head here is weighted so it stays on the floor rather than riding up, and the brush uses polybristle rather than stainless wire. Stainless brushes belong on plaster and gunite; used on a liner they can score it. Buying the kit matched to your pool surface avoids that.
The 18 inch curved brush
Vinyl pools have a cove where the wall meets the floor, and a flat brush rides over it. The curved brush follows that shape, so algae does not get a place to sit.
What you still need
