Return side, not suction side

This part works on the return line, the side that pushes water back into the pool. A suction cleaner takes its water from the skimmer or a dedicated suction port, so the diverter is separate from the hose that drives the cleaner. Keeping the two straight matters when you are ordering, because return line and suction line accessories are easy to mix up.
