Product details

The Hayward CZXGKT7627 is the element gasket for the 1.5/5.5/11 W C-Spa XI series heaters. It is the genuine Hayward replacement part.

What it seals

The gasket sits at the heating element and keeps water on the correct side of that joint. It is a small, inexpensive part whose failure is not small: a hardened, flattened or split gasket weeps at the element and puts water where it does not belong.

When to fit one

Any time the element comes out. Gaskets take a compression set and go hard with heat cycling, so a used one seldom seals properly on reassembly. Check the manual for your heater to confirm the part your model calls for before you order.
