Product details

The Hayward HAXFOR1930 is the flange o-ring kit for H-Series heaters, supplied as a set of 2. It is also carried under the number O-43, and both refer to the same genuine Hayward set.

Where the o-rings sit

They seal the CPVC flange connections at the heater, the joints that get opened whenever the heater is isolated for service. Every time a union comes apart the o-ring takes a chance of being pinched or dragged over a thread, which is why they are one of the more frequently replaced parts on the unit.

Fitment

Hayward lists the set for the H-Series and H-Series ED1 models 150 through 400, and for the ED2 style H-Series electronic gas heaters. Because the kit contains two, the sensible move is to change both sides at once rather than open the same connection again next season.
